Our meat comes off Ontario farms, every last bit. It doesn’t get shipped in and it doesn’t get chosen on price.
It’s cut and wrapped to your order, then stored frozen at our warehouse until your delivery goes out. The frozen items are foodservice grade, the same catalogue restaurants buy from, which is why they’re a step up on the supermarket version.
We’d rather a customer told you than us. This one’s twelve years in.
Delivery gets worked into your order when your Food Planner builds it, and it doesn’t go up because you live at the east end of the province. A family in Kingston and a family in Peterborough get quoted the same way.
What distance does change is how we plan the date. The truck runs the eastern route as a loop rather than a straight line into the city, so Napanee, Odessa, Amherstview, Bath and out to Gananoque all come off the same load.
Which is why we won’t promise you a weekday at the table. Two things set the date, and neither is a calendar: where the truck actually is that week, and whether every item on your order is in and packed. Tell your Food Planner what timing suits you, the office picks the date, and we text you before it comes.
Kingston covers a lot of ground. Some of it is established city streets and some of it is Sydenham, Harrowsmith and Inverary where the neighbours are a field away.
Both are ordinary for us. Our own driver brings it in and puts it where you want it, and somebody needs to be there to check it against the delivery slip and sign, so nothing gets left on a porch.
Steaks to the thickness you want. Roasts to the weight that suits your oven and your table. Ground beef in pack sizes that match how you actually cook rather than how a shop decided to wrap it.

Your Food Planner asks how your household eats and what you’re already spending on groceries, then builds the order to that number, item by item, off our full catalogue.

Then we don't sell you more than fits. We build the order to your space, split it across two deliveries, or supply a chest or upright freezer at our cost on the same trip. Tell your Food Planner before the order is finalized.
Yes. You take part on one run and the rest on a later one, both off the same order at the same locked pricing. It costs nothing extra and it cuts the freezer space you need at any one time by a third or more.
