Food & meat delivery · Oshawa & Durham Region
Durham has a supermarket every few minutes in any direction, so this was never going to be about getting to a shop. Families here order from us for two reasons that have nothing to do with access: what the food costs next year, and not having to think about it every week.
The meat is Ontario farm raised, all of it. None of it imported, and none of it picked because it was the cheapest going that week.
You’re an hour or so from most of that farmland, which is closer than whatever’s behind the glass at the shop. It’s cut and wrapped to your order, then stored frozen at our warehouse until your delivery.
The frozen items are foodservice grade, the same catalogue restaurants order from. That’s the honest reason they’re a step up. They were never built for a supermarket shelf.
We’re not going to tell you it’s better. Here’s a family of four instead.
Durham runs on commuting. An hour each way is ordinary, and the shop happens at the end of it or on a Saturday that was supposed to be for something else.
A planned order won’t remove every trip, because you’ll still buy milk and bread and produce. It removes the meat run, which is the heavy, expensive, think-about-it part of the week.
Your unit prices are locked for 36 months from the day you sign, in writing on the order. Re-order inside that window and you pay what you paid.
Against a shelf tag that moves week to week, that’s the part Durham customers say they actually notice. We publish what real orders cost in what food costs an Ontario family, with the food behind every number.
More than anywhere else we deliver, the honest obstacle in Durham is room. A newer townhouse or a semi has a fridge-freezer and not much else, and that’s roughly 4 to 6 cubic feet with something already in it.
A small chest freezer is about 5 to 7. A mid-size chest is around 10, which is where most families land. A large upright runs to about 20.
Three ways round it, all of them ordinary. Build the order to the freezer you own. Split it across two deliveries, which cuts what you’re storing at any one time by a third or more and costs nothing extra. Or take a chest or upright from us at cost, delivered on the same trip. The freezer space guide has the whole ladder.
This is the part Durham customers tell us they didn’t expect. Steak thickness. Roast size to fit your oven and your table. Ground beef in the pack size you’ll get through in one go. Chicken whole, halved or portioned.
You say it when the order’s planned, it goes on in writing, and everything’s cut and wrapped to match. A shop can’t do that for you at any price.
It’s a conversation, not a sales call. They’ll ask how many you’re feeding, how often you cook, what nobody in the house will touch, and roughly what you’re spending on groceries now.
Then they build to that number. The order’s meant to replace what you’re already spending rather than land on top of it, and it’s meant to last you the term. If it doesn’t do both, it’s been built wrong, and that’s ours to fix before you sign. You can see the output on five real orders, item by item.

Access isn't the argument. The two reasons Durham families give us are a price locked for 36 months from signing, and an order chosen item by item and cut the way they ask, which a store can't do.
A fridge-freezer is about 4 to 6 cubic feet and never empty, so a big order won't fit one. We build to the space you've, or split it across two deliveries, or supply a freezer at our cost. Tell your Food Planner before the order is finalized.
Tell your Food Planner the timing that suits your household and the office works to it. We'll not promise you a day at the table, because the route and your items being packed decide the date, and we text you to confirm before the truck comes.
Yes. Soups, pasta, cereal, baking staples, foil and freezer bags go on the same order and arrive in the same delivery.
We'll not promise you a day. The route and whether your items are in and packed decide the date, and neither of those is visible on a calendar when you're sitting at the table. Tell your Food Planner the timing that suits your household and the office confirms by text before the truck comes.
Yes. Someone needs to check the order against the delivery slip and sign for it. The driver carries it in and puts it where you want it, including down to a basement freezer.
Yes, and this is the part most people don't expect. Steak thickness, roast weight, ground beef pack size. Your instructions are written on the order and everything is cut and wrapped to match.
You've 14 days from delivery under our Perfect-Fit Promise to tell us an item doesn't suit your family and we replace it. Everything we deliver carries a 12-month quality guarantee.
