One food delivery service, all of Ontario.

From Oshawa to Kingston, up through the Kawarthas to North Bay and Greater Sudbury. Shopease plans one custom food order with your family and delivers it frozen to your door. Southern selection, northern reach: our routes go where the grocery competition doesn’t.

One warehouse, planned routes, the whole province

All our meat comes from Ontario farms, and the restaurant-quality frozen food comes through the same foodservice supplier a great many restaurants buy from. That’s the same for every household we deliver to, wherever you are in the province.

Everything leaves one building in Peterborough. Your order is planned there, cut there and loaded there, and our own driver brings it. There’s no depot network and no courier in the middle, which is why we run routes rather than a next-day service.

It also means distance doesn’t change your price. Delivery is worked into the order when your Food Planner builds it. A family in Sudbury and a family ten minutes from the warehouse are quoted exactly the same way.

Why we’ll not name you a delivery day

Because we can’t keep that promise honestly, and a food company that promises a day it can’t keep is worse than one that says so plainly.

Two things decide the date and neither is visible on a calendar. Where the truck actually is that week, since a route isn’t a daily service to every town. And whether every item on your order is in and packed, because a day or two of notice isn’t enough to buy it, receive it and pack it.

So you tell your Food Planner the timing that suits your household, the office sets the date against the route and the stock, and we text you to confirm before the truck rolls. We don’t deliver at weekends.

The same order and the same promises everywhere

There’s no reduced version for the far end of a route. Whatever your postal code, you get a plan built item by item with a Food Planner, meat cut to your own instructions in our Peterborough room, and the same four things in writing on the order.

A 12-month quality guarantee. A 36-month price lock on your unit prices from the day you sign. The 14-day Perfect-Fit Promise. And delivery by our own team, carried in and put where you want it.

If you want to see what that produces in practice, we publish five real orders item by item, and what happens between your order and your freezer.

Freezer space is the question worth settling first

It’s the most common practical obstacle anywhere in the province, and it has three ordinary answers. We build the order to the freezer you already own. We split it across two deliveries, which cuts the space needed at any one time by a third or more and costs nothing extra. Or we supply a chest or upright freezer at our cost, brought on the same trip.

Sort it out with your Food Planner before the order is finalized rather than after. The freezer space guide matches order size to freezer size, and how long frozen food actually lasts covers keeping it in good condition once it’s in there.

Ontario delivery questions, answered

Do you deliver to my part of Ontario?

We deliver across Ontario from our warehouse in Peterborough, with regular routes through the Kawarthas, Northumberland, Durham Region, Kingston and area, North Bay and Sudbury. If you’re not sure about your town, text your postal code to (705) 304-0080. If we reach you we’ll say so, and if we don’t we’ll tell you that instead of stringing you along.

When will my order arrive?

We never deliver on weekends, and we’ll not name you a day at the table. Two things decide the date and neither is on a calendar: where the truck actually is that week, and whether every item on your order is in and packed. Tell your Food Planner the timing that suits your household, the office sets the date, and we text you to confirm before the truck rolls.

Is this a subscription box?

No. There’s no preset box and no monthly surprise. You sit down with a Food Planner, go through the catalogue, and nothing goes on the order that you didn’t put there. If your household eats chicken and ground beef and almost no pork, that’s what the order looks like.

How does paying for it work?

Your Food Planner builds the order around the grocery budget you already spend, then you choose weekly, bi-weekly or monthly payments. You can spread it out on approved credit, or pay in full and take the discount. Everything is in writing before you commit to anything.

Do I need a big freezer?

Most family freezers do the job, and we package for smart stacking. Tell your Food Planner what you’re working with before the order is finalized and the plan is built to fit that space. If you want more room, we sell chest and upright freezers at our cost and deliver them with your order.

What happens if something isn’t right?

You’ve 14 days from delivery under our Perfect-Fit Promise to tell us an item isn’t right for your family and we replace it. Everything we deliver also carries a 12-month quality guarantee. Call, text or email and we sort it out.

Not sure if we deliver to you? Ask.

Text us your postal code at (705) 304-0080 and we’ll confirm delivery for your address, or book a free consult. No pressure, no obligation. When it comes to food, we deliver.
