Food & meat delivery · Lindsay & Kawartha Lakes
Lindsay is about forty minutes west of our Rye Street warehouse in Peterborough, which makes Kawartha Lakes one of the nearest stops on our routes. Families from Omemee to Coboconk order the same way as a household across town from us.
The City of Kawartha Lakes covers a lot of country, from Lindsay up past Fenelon Falls and Coboconk to Kinmount. For plenty of households a full shop means a drive into Lindsay and back.
A planned order takes the meat run out of that. Beef, pork, chicken and fish go into your freezer in one or two deliveries, along with the frozen favourites and brand-name pantry staples you already buy. You still pick up milk, bread and produce yourself.
The weeks you least want to be on Highway 35 or the back roads are the weeks a full freezer earns its keep.
Most families here plan the order so it lands ahead of winter, then pick from the freezer through the cold months. Tell your Food Planner when you want it to arrive and the office books the date around the route and the stock, then confirms it with you by text.
All our meat comes from Ontario farms, and it’s all-natural.
You decide the details. Chops thick or thin. Roasts sized for two, or for the whole family on a Sunday. Ground beef in the pack size you get through in one meal. Chicken whole or in portions.
Those instructions are written on your order and it’s cut to match. It costs nothing extra.
It starts with a 2-minute survey on this site. A Food Planner then calls to go through what you eat, how many you feed and roughly what you spend on groceries now, and builds the order item by item.
You get a written quote. If it suits you, the paperwork is signed electronically, and the delivery is booked. Nothing is decided for you, and you can change items before you sign.
Here’s what one family wrote after their fourth delivery.
Weekly, bi-weekly or monthly payments, on approved credit, or a discount for paying in full. Your unit prices are locked for 36 months from the day you sign, and that’s written on the order.
How paying for a food order works covers it in plain terms, and five real orders show what families actually get.
Tell your Food Planner how much room you have before the order is finalized. They’ll fit the order to it, and it can come in more than one delivery. We also sell chest and upright freezers at our cost, delivered with the food. The freezer space guide has the sizes.
Every town on this list is in our delivery area. If your road is not on the list, text your postal code to (705) 304-0080 and we will tell you either way.
